Modernization of the L-39S training aircraft into the L-39M1 variant

The purpose of the modernization is to improve the flight characteristics of the L-39S aircraft by modernizing the AI-25TL engine, expanding the list of registered parameters, and increasing the speed of the flight parameters registration system.

The modernized L-39M1 aircraft differs from the serial L-39 aircraft by installing the following equipment on it:

• modernized AI-25TLSH engine with increased thrust and improved performance characteristics instead of the serial AI-25TL engine;

• on-board exhaust gas temperature regulator of the BRT unit for the AI-25TLSH engine instead of the RT-12 temperature regulator;

• on-board emergency and operational flight information recorder BUR-4-1-07 instead of the system of automatic registration of flight parameters SARPP-12GM.
